New year, new YuJa features! As you’re using YuJa this year, you may notice a few things look or operate a bit differently than they did last year. Here’s what’s new in YuJa for 2022:
- Assign Gradebook credit for the percentage of video quizzes watched. Students not watching the whole video? You can motivate them to complete a full watch of your content by assigning a grade based on the percentage of the video they watched. Learn more about video quizzes here
- Take video quizzes in External View. This change allows students to optimize the video quiz for the size of their device. Learn where to find the External View option.
- Redo actions in the video editor. Need to make repeated edits to your video? The YuJa Video Editor now lets you easily redo your last action instead of having to recreate it. Learn more about using Redo.
- Media Player Now Shows Video Next to Sidebar in Small Viewports (Instead of Overlay). If you’re viewing on a smaller screen, this update supports side-by-side viewing of the Media Player and Sidebar. This can be helpful for users who have smaller device screens or prefer to view content in smaller windows.
Hopefully these changes make it easier to use YuJa for both you and your students. If you have any questions, please send us an email–we’ll be happy to help!
